School sucks doesn’t it?

Well, it might. But it doesn’t have to. My name is Tony Howell, and on this site, I aim to provide the best knowledge, tips, and advice on how you can do your best in college, while still having a life!

Although I love to learn, like most students, I hate homework! So for the past 4 years or so, since my freshman year of college, I’ve read and researched everything I could about learning, memory, study methods, speed reading, and so forth. I wanted to know how to spend as little time studying as possible while still having good grades.

What I discovered was pretty shocking. The reason why I hated school so much was because the traditional education system does a pretty poor job of teaching students!

This ain’t your grandma’s study skills site!

It is constantly drilled into our heads that if we want good grades, we have to study hard, yet in all our years of schooling, we’re never taught how to study. We’re never taught how to learn.

It’s not the tricks or techniques that make someone a great learner, it’s the mindset they have. And this mindset is something anyone can have, because we’re born with it. Unfortunately, through years of traditional schooling, most of us have lost that “learner mindset”

That’s what I will provide on this website; advice that will help you change your mindset into one that learns quickly and effectively, so you can have more time for other stuff, like work, family, and good parties.
